Our Story
Welcome to Welwyn Massage, founded by two passionate friends united by a shared commitment to health and wellbeing. Even today, you can still find us up at St. Mary's playing field, playing football or catch, just like we did when we first met at college.
With degrees in Sports Science and extensive experience in the fitness industry, we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice.
As certified massage therapists, we offer a range of services including sports massage, remedial massage, deep tissue massage, and hot stone massage.

Our mission is to help you recover, perform better, and achieve your wellness goals. We are dedicated to providing personalized care and effective treatments tailored to your unique needs. We love what we do, and we are excited to support you on your journey to better health and peak performance.
Will Moyes
Remedial Massage Therapist
My direction in life was shaped early on by a near-fatal snow sledging accident at the age of three. With a fractured skull, severed tongue, and left-side paralysis, I began my initiation into the complex world of suffering and healing, spending years in and out of hospitals and various physical therapy programs.

At the age of 15, I faced emotional trauma with the loss of my dad. This profound experience added another layer to my understanding of healing.

I studied Sports Science at Brighton University and became a Personal Trainer after graduating in 2009. In 2014, I recognized the potential of healing others through deep tissue massage and graduated from the London School of Sports Massage.

In January 2016, I traveled to Banff, Canada, to become a CSIA Ski Instructor, proving that the universe's plans for my journey were unfolding well.

In January 2019, I embarked on a Meditation Teacher Training Course in the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh, India, where I learned the beauty of silence and the wonders of life in its simplest form.

Upon returning from my travels, I pursued a counseling course to help those who often go unheard to have their voices recognized.

Sports Massage Therapist
My passion for sport began at a young age and grew during my time in academy football until age 19, leading me to pursue a career in sports and fitness.

In 2008, I started as a personal trainer while studying Sports Science at Brunel University. Transitioning into personal training and strength & conditioning, I built a successful business serving diverse clients, including athletes.

After experiencing the joy of guiding individuals towards their fitness goals, I furthered my commitment to sports and wellness by becoming a Physical Education teacher, a role I found immensely fulfilling for two years.

Though my own athletic aspirations were cut short by injury, my dedication to the world of sports and wellness remains undiminished.
Now, as a qualified sports massage therapist, I am driven by a singular goal, to adopt a holistic approach that empowers individuals to maintain active lifestyles and peak performance levels for as long as possible.

In addition to my professional pursuits, I am also a proud dad, finding balance and inspiration in my family life.
